DESCRIPTION
MHD Beauty Parlor is seeking a talented and experienced Hair Color + Extensions Specialist to join our team. As a specialist in this role, you will be responsible for providing top-tier hair coloring services, gray coverage solutions, and extensions installations for our clients. We value creativity, expertise, and a commitment to excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform hair color consultations to determine client preferences and needs.
- Provide expert hair coloring and highlighting services, with a specialization in blonding and gray coverage.
- Offer extensions consultations and installations, utilizing Bellami Hair extensions or other high-quality products as necessary.
- Stay current on the latest hair coloring and extensions techniques and trends.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with all salon hygiene and safety protocols.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional customer service.
- Educate clients on proper hair care and recommend suitable products.
- Collaborate with fellow stylists to create a cohesive and supportive salon environment.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to further develop skills.
- Optional: Participate in makeup artistry and event hairstyling services as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Tennessee Cosmetology license is required.
- Proven experience in hair coloring, specializing in blonding and gray coverage.
- Expertise in hair extensions, preferably with training from Bellami Hair or a similar high-quality brand.
- Strong knowledge of hair care products and techniques (we are a Redken salon).
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Optional: Interest in makeup artistry and event hairstyling is a bonus. Please mention when applying.
