Salon Operations Assistant - PT - MHD Beauty Parlor - Nashville, TN

MHD Beauty Parlor is a renowned beauty salon located in the Berry Hill/Woodbine area of Nashville, TN that is dedicated to providing exceptional beauty services to our valued clients. We take pride in our commitment to excellence, creativity, and professionalism in the beauty industry. Key services include makeup applications, event hairstyling, makeup & hairstyling lessons, facials, spray tanning, and hair services.


MHD Beauty Parlor is seeking a highly motivated and efficient Salon Operations Assistant to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our salon. While a cosmetology license is not required, the ideal candidate should be organized, possess excellent customer service skills, and be dedicated to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our clients.


1. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by answering the salon phone, responding to salon emails, scheduling appointments, and greeting and checking guests in and out.


2. Salon Maintenance: Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the salon, including light cleaning, occasional deeper cleaning, tidying up, and ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for our clients & staff.


3. Inventory Management: Keep track of salon supplies & retail product inventory, restock products as needed, and assist in placing orders for supplies.


4. Staff Support: Assist in washing and drying our rental hair extensions, cleaning makeup brushes, and ensuring all service tools are in top condition and ready staff use.


5. Social Media and Blogging: Capture and create engaging content for our salon's social media platforms. Contribute to the salon's blog with beauty tips, trends, and updates.
